The
12 Periods of Quitting Smoking
"One
of the most optimistic benefits of this concept is that
it is based on the premise that there are from one to a
hundred-and-one chances of "Quitting." In other
words, the potential "Quitter" never fails in
the attempt to quit smoking. If nothing else, these
attempts and short trial periods will have given the
smoker a chance to experience what it could feel like to
become a nonsmoker." . . . . EjL

1. / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / PREPARATION The Most
Important Period of The Entire Quitting Process. The cessation of any
negative habit not only requires the combined
efforts of goal-setting, discipline,
conditioning, determination, but all the Periods
combined must be taken into consideration. These 12 Periods are
very vital assets when it comes down to finally
"Quitting" smoking.
Note: The
12 Periods, as described herein are not
experienced in numerical order Although they
cover just about every phase of smoke cessation,
each and every phase is not necessarily
experienced. Some smokers may experience the
whole gamut of these influences, while others may
experience a mere few.
Invariably, it
is essential that a date be determined and
adhered to, from as little as 7 days to as
long as three months prior to the smoker's
intended "Quitting" day. During
this crucial Preparation Period, intensive
measures must be taken by the potential "Quitter"
in order to create all the justification,
motovation, and determination necessary to feel
thoroughly convinced of the potential to fulfill
this important objective. (A birthday, or New
Year's resolution are examples of meaningful
dates. Other examples would be to set a date 45
days ahead, or at the beginning of an important
month.) Once the smoker, with the aid of this
technique has set the intended date, nothing
except for starting over, must induce or entice
that person to pick up a cigarette on that very
first - that carefully chosen "Quitting"
day.
Being
unsuccessful at this first attempt in no way
constitutes failure. It merely means that the
person must go back over the program and try
again - even if it means starting over. The
benefits of starting over many times is that the
benefits of the practice and preparation finally
lead to sustaining the "Quitting"
period for longer and longer periods of time.
Remember that MOTOVATION is a key
Period, (Period 12). The focus, the
ideal resultant is being able to quit smoking
permanantly.

| Period 2.
/ / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / DISTRESS The Most
Stressful Period of The Entire Quitting Process. Since the first 24 to 48 hours
are the most critical hours of this process,
Period 2 should be noted as the vulnerable hours
which could mean the difference between success,
(but never failure) or having to begin over.
However, focussing to accomplish this goal of
"Quitting" should be
of utmost importance.
The potential
"Quitter" should not become alarmed in
the event there is not success in getting through
the first days of "Quitting." Due to
various unfounded fears, lack of determination,
or improper preparation, the smoker could become
deluded into believing that giving up smoking is
just not possible. This is a typical response in
that the addiction has become so overwhelming the
smoker usually concludes that the reason is
because of a personal lack of willpower, or
weakness of character. In actuality, neither case
is true. The truth is that when smoking addiction
becomes ingrained, the subconscious finds it
difficult to believe anything adverse to its
negative behavior pattern. At such point the mind
has become so brainwashed it accepts its position
as being enslaved to the habit, however
undesirable this may feel.
The key to the
"Quitting" process is the understanding
that it permissible for the smoker to accept that
if success is not achieved on the first try it is
perfectly okay to go right back to smoking until
a more appropriate time. Being prepared for this
kind of task can sometimes be very demanding and
therefore require calling upon every creative
means, every psychological twist, in order to
overcome this particular bondage. The real
solution to "Quitting" lies in the
trust that this well thought out, personally
adapted technique really can work. As soon as the
smoker realizes that there is no tremendous
willpower, or superhuman strength required, the
sooner this goal will become achieved.

TESTIMONIAL: Remarks from Natasha prior to her 1st visit:
"The patch didn't work, which cost
me about $325. The nicotine gum hurt my mouth, and
it didn't work! Can hypnosis help?"
Excerpt
from Natasha's letter a month later: "After you worked with me
using The Trance Zone, I
never wanted another cigarette! In fact, I'm glad I
handed you my pack. I have not had a cigarette since I left your
office! My job is as stressful as ever, but I go outside
for fresh air now, not for smoke-filled air. My coworkers
can't believe that I can watch them smoke and not want
one. Every smoker I know is asking me how I did it. I
gave your name and number to everyone ready to do
something about their struggle. I have not started eating
more, and have not been the least bit moody, or on edge.
I have more energy than ever, and my nonsmoking boyfriend
is thrilled that he doesn't have to smell smoke in my
hair, and on my breath. I no longer have to worry about
covering upthe horrible odor cigarattes leave, and I'm
saving money. I couldn't be happier. Thanks again,
Natasha"

ORDER The EBOOK: The 12 Periods of
Quitting Smoking - $39.95
Here's
the real deal on the arithmetic - and it doesn't
take a mathematician to figure it out: Based on the premise
that a pack of cigarettes costs $5.25 a pack, and
you smoke one pack a day each week, you would
spend $525.00 during any 10 week period. Wouldn't
it be worth an investment of less than 8% of
that amount to ensure a healthy future? How mush
would it cost for 1 full year of smoking - 5
years? Worse yet, how much would it cost if you
became ill due to cigarette smoke and had to be
committed to a hospital? No, smokers, we're
not talking about money here - We're really
talking about your health!
